The Commodores open their season on the road Aug. 23 at the AVCA First Serve Showcase, where they will play Kansas at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska. Vanderbilt will play its first home match outdoors on Wyatt Lawn Aug. 29 versus Belmont.
Season ticket holders will receive access to special seating for Match 1 based on availability.
“We believe we have the most exciting three-match start to the volleyball season in the country, highlighted by two amazing events in Nashville,” head coach Anders Nelson said. “We’re especially excited to showcase what we’ve been building to the Nashville volleyball community who have been so welcoming to the program. We’re also looking forward to heading west for a special trip home for the Californians on our roster.”
After the AVCA First Serve and Match 1, Vandy will face Illinois as part of the Broadway Block Party at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Aug. 31 (Illinois match not included in season ticket package).
The team’s first match in Memorial Gymnasium will be Sept. 5 when the Dores face Minnesota. Vandy will take a trip west to play at California on Sept. 10 and at UC Santa Barbara on Sept. 12. The Commodores’ nonconference slate ends at home versus UC Irvine on Sept.19.
Vandy’s SEC schedule is already announced and includes home matches versus Oklahoma, Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri and Tennessee. Six of Vanderbilt’s 11 home opponents earned NCAA Tournament berths in 2024.
Vanderbilt volleyball season tickets will continue with the online geofencing process implemented in 2024 for the football season where all online season ticket purchases must be made from within a 250-mile radius of Nashville. Fans who live outside the 250-mile radius may call the ticket office at 877-44-VANDY to discuss purchasing options.
Single-match tickets will go on sale in July. Fans interested in getting ticket information sent directly to their inbox should complete the ticket interest form.
