McNair Added to Volleyball Staff

Bryan McNair will be the director of technology and analytics

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Bryan McNair will join the Vanderbilt volleyball staff as the director of technology and analytics, the program announced Thursday.

“Bryan earned this opportunity through hard work and a relentless commitment to our program while serving as an intern,” head coach Anders Nelson said. “He’s willing to do whatever it takes to help us succeed and brings a rare combination of loyalty, joy and work ethic that makes everyone around him better.”

McNair will be stepping into a full-time role after working with the program as a technical operations graduate intern during the 2024-25 academic year.

“I’m incredibly honored to join the Vanderbilt volleyball program during such an exciting time,” McNair said. “The vision here is bold, and the chance to help build something from the ground up alongside an exceptional staff is truly inspiring. Vanderbilt athletics offers an elite environment, and I’m excited to support our student-athletes as they pursue excellence.”

Before Vanderbilt, McNair was the head volleyball coach at Bellevue Christian School and a coach and administrator for Keegan Cook and Leslie Gabriel Volleyball Camps.

He got his start working in collegiate athletics as lead manager for the Washington women’s volleyball team.

McNair earned his degree in education communities and organization from Washington in 2019. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in intercollegiate athletic leadership.
